SOMBS Holdings was appointed to undertake the comprehensive refurbishment and functional conversion of the College House at Waterberg TVET College's Mokopane Campus. The project transformed an aging building into a modern, safe, and efficient educational facility, fully compliant with ISO 9001 quality standards.

Working within an occupied campus environment, our team delivered the full scope on time and with minimal disruption to ongoing college activities. The project included complete interior strip-out, structural upgrades, new mechanical and electrical installations, and final finishes tailored to an educational setting.

Scope of Work

  • Complete interior strip-out and removal of existing non-structural elements.

Implementation & Quality

All work was carried out in strict accordance with the JBCC contract, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and SANS 10400 regulations. Our project management team conducted weekly quality audits and maintained full safety compliance throughout the construction phase. No lost-time injuries were recorded on this site.

The project was delivered on time, within budget, and with a 12-month defects liability period, ensuring the college could commence the new academic year without delay.
